Listen. I can post whatever I want. I can tell anyone I want to fuck off. I don’t care who people think I am on the INTERNET.
Having said that, I will repeat myself from my last Ask.
This was a silly little game they played when they were bored. They had no intention of doing anything other than getting lost and using hot chicks as a “random street” locator. I can assure you, men play MUCH worse games in clubs and bars all the time. Usually ending up with a drink to their face. (Which they totally deserve.)
ANYONE who takes ANYTHING said on the INTERNET seriously, is a complete FUCKING IDIOT.
They’re the same people who think if we stop using the word “faggot”, it’ll somehow make the word “unspeakable” so no one will get their feelings hurt. But that’s not how words work. The more you use a word, the less power it has. For example, when you were 10, saying “fuck” in front of your parents would get your ass beat or grounded for a month. Once we get older and it’s used more frequently in day to day interactions, it’s LESS of a powerful word.
I am in no way condoning rape or rape culture, but this whole “I can’t say words because people have feelings” thing is complete bullshit. As is people telling RT they should have to apologize for something HARMLESS like connect the hots.
I can’t fucking believe I’ve had to answer actual questions of this. It’s fucking stupid that it’s even an issue.

I have a friend who almost got raped. She managed to run the fuck away, but I have never seen someone that scared and downright terrified in my life. For women, there is no greater fear than rape, because it's the one thing they're told is their fault, even though it's not. RT's "game" has no doubt caused dozens of women to feel unsafe, terrified, violated, and objectified. I'm not saying to toss them out the window, but the fact that you have backed their decision is disgusting and wrong.

I’ve had a friend who was raped, I’m completely aware of the life-destroying after effects.
They were playing a GAME. It’s not like they were planning to rape anyone. Their intentions are COMPLETELY different. As far as I could tell, they just went down streets with the hottest girls and just kept switching streets to see where they ended up. It was more about where they ended up then the hot girls.
I firmly believe any woman who feels objectified by male stares are taking themselves TOO SERIOUSLY. And I can guarantee that most girls don’t mind getting ogled. (I’ve asked all my female friends, they all agree with me on that point. But then again, all my female friends are attention whores, so who knows?)
My point is there’s a difference between a harmless game and malicious intent. And people who’re making a big deal out of this are those same people who think if we stop using the word “retard” that’ll somehow make retarded people less retarded. Making something “unimaginable” to say, is giving that word power. And if we take away that power by overusing that word, the act itself becomes less powerful. And rape is only about power.
Note: I do NOT condone rape. But I will also not apologize for my stance on this.
